Default 8520 Curve

I have a 8520 Curve that periodically wont switch on all i get are the flashing red led, in the odd occasion usually after leaving the battery out for about an hour that the handset does boot up it switches itself off and then am unable for around an hour to reboot anyone know what the fix is.
i am in the uk on o2 and the phone is unlocked if this helps

The phone has now stopped rebooting no matter what i try.
the Apploader reload doesnt work it wont recognise the fone come up USB UNKNOWN so cant continue with teh reload of the os.

please help.

Try using BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife) to recognise the phone and check BlackBerry 101 in the help section on crackberry for instructions on how to unbrick your BB. Make sure u have the latest drivers installed as well
