8520 connection problem
Hi folks,
after I changed the case of my bb 8520, I`ve encountered a connection problem. Now it's very hard to connect to the vodafone network. I only achieve a connection when I'm holding the phone in the air like the statue of liberty. It's very annoying. I suppose it's not because of the new case, because a friend of mine has no trouble with the same one.
Anyone an idea how this could happen? maybe I damaged the antenna or something like that??

Have you tried it with the case off?
Did you ever do anything to the device (such as dropping it or opening it) that might have damaged it? - 08-01-2012, 06:13 AM

Are you talking about the case or the housing? Those are two different things. (Note that I can't open that YouTube link.)

Testing with another sim (if it's unlocked Blackberry cutrve 8520)
If your Blackberry is unlocked you can test it with another SIM card from other carrier to find out if the problem is with the hardware.. maybe it's just a carrier / sim issue.
