I searched but could not find anything regarding my issue.

I downloaded and installed through application loader a theme and it does not show up in my theme list. It is in my application list with all of the permission set to "allow". What is going on and how do I get the theme to show up in my themes area?

First thing - press Alt, Right Shift, Delete together. This will reset the BB and after it reboots, it should show up.

Also make sure the theme was the correct version for your model and OS version.

Sorry I forgot to say that I made sure it was the correct version.

I will try and reboot real quick.

My main question is this : Have you optimized your BlackBerry using a guide (such as Stoner's) to free up memory??

If you have, then you probably removed some of the default themes... and without those there is no backbone for the theme you are attempting to use (unless it is a Zen theme...)

Report back and we can help!

My phone is rebooting now. Yes I did initially remove the theme files but I put them back and reloaded the application data to get them back in the phone.

I need another beta to be leaked so I can install it and just use Pete's memory tool for this stuff. It's so much easier to remove and replace files with his software.

That link is for an 'official' release of OS 4.5.0.52... not Beta. The features and performance will likely be identical though
