This is my first theme, but I spent a lot of time on it. It is a Bold theme made for the Curve 8320. My guess is that it will work with any Curve device. The changes that I did make was a smaller banner bar to keep it all simple and clean. The background can be changed and the home screen is customizable. Here are some screenshots and the URL for the OTA install.

EDIT: Added a link for the anti-aliased font version of the theme as well as a zip file containing both for Desktop Manager Install and Plazmic THM file. Also added 4.2 and 4.3 OTA install links.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you all like it. As for a non OTA download, I have one but it's actually on another computer that I can't access at the moment. I will be able to upload it in a few weeks though, when this semester of college is over, and I'll post the link here. Sorry about that.

exactly. lol. im a poor college student that managed to get a curve for super cheap and cant afford the data plan.

love the phone though! cant wait to see the Bold Theme. looks great!

You can find 4.5 at your provider's site or you can go to the blackberry site and download it from there.

Is there a way to change the font of all the menus? I prefer the standard curve zen font, it doesn't seem as jagad, or squished...

Those kind of fonts are controlled by Plazmic, which is weird. I chose the font that you see because it kind of matched the bold one and I like the sharpness of it. I could try to change the font for you, but I currently don't have access to the plazmic file. I'll get back to you if I can.

Wow, man that would be awesome! Your theme is great, but if you could make the fonts user selectable rather than preset with the theme, I'm sure that will accomodate more users of your theme than just changing it for me!

Look forward to the updated version! It is now my permanent theme!

Yah, I wish I could make the font user choice, but the Plazmic theme creator won't allow it...which was weird when I found out. You have to choose one and then it uses that for certain items. So, there isn't a choice to let the user change those fonts. Plazmic should change that part of the theme creator.

Definately! There have been quite a few themes that I have tried and I just didn't use them because I didn't like the font! I really like the standard bb font with font smoothing on with a 8 size...

But you know, the font in theme you made is starting to grow on me! But if you could update it with BBAlphaSans as the font that would be awesome!

I recently updated my AT&T 8310 device os to 4.5.0.99.
When I try to load your Bold theme, the D/M brings up the device software and I can't get the theme file to load. I like the theme, I'd like to use it.
Also, any idea how to obtain v4.5.0.102?

It should work with any 4.5 OS version. The link I gave is an OTA install, so all you have to do is point your Blackberry browser to the file and it should install from the blackberry. You don't need to use device manager.

I'm pretty new to this and don't understand the term "OTA install". What do you mean by point the BB browser to the file?
Sorry for the incompetence. I'm catching on.

Type/copy the downlaod link in the browser on the phone itself.. You have to download the file on your phone, can't load it with bb desktop manager.
