I found a really pretty theme and downloaded but saw that it was for 4.2. Can I use this theme or should remove it?? Thanks for your help!!!

I wouldn't do it. I did that exactly once and messed up my BB. Pay attention to what the instructions are. If they say a specific OS, listen to the voices!!! No theme is worth it.
