I tried to see if my phone would update over the wireless update link under advance options. I clicked on the "check for updates" button and a thing came up saying "unable to send request for avaible updates." Can someone help me with this? What could be causing this to not work? I recommend against OTA OS updates. If anything goes wrong...your're stuck. Download BB Desktop Manager (DM) from the BB website to your PC & DM can be configured check the web for any official OS updates for your BB. That way, if anything goes wrong with your OS update, you'll have an OS on you PC to fall back on. Make sure you use DM to back up your system settings.
