Wireless update frozen??...Help

I have the 8330 for verizon and just started using it again after I broke my other phone.

I went to use the wireless update feature and it is currently stuck but the elapsed time keeps counting.

It says overall backup progress 72% and current database: Crunch SMS 90%

its been going for about an hour and 40 minutes now with no change

First thing I would have recommended was NOT to do the update wirelessly. But that's just me. If it does not proceed past this point pull the battery and try again.

I was going to say that...I definitely shouldn't have used the wireless update but I figured worst comes to worst i'd pull the battery, brick it, and go to verizon and see what they would give me for free LOL

It's been almost 2 hours now, how long should I wait?

WOW after all that I called verizon and they told me to just pull the battery and everything seems to be updating and loading fine -____- kill me i feel retarded HAHAHA

+1 never do OTAs, just cable up to your PC and update that way. Safer!!!
