I need a BB for testing a web app over wifi, if I get a curve with no sim and no plan at all will I be able to conenct it to my wifi and use the browser?

If not I guess I can look at sticking my ATT SIM from my phone in it for testing but would ratehr not have to, especially as I'm likely to pick up a TMobile 8320 and would have to get it unlocked etc..

    Thanks for any help,

    Chris.

    8330 doesn't have both. It's CDMA.

The 8330 Curve on Sprint does have GPS and it works great.
I have 3 and all of them work with GPS either on tower or direct from sat.

Could you give details on how this works? I just tried it on 2 separate 8320s and cant pick up wifi on either of them without SIM installed.

Similarly opera mini on my 8320 that has no data plan works fine, but I can't use the default browser. I haven't seen a networked application work since turning off my data plan either.

I'm wondering if perhaps I can set the TCP settings to match my wifi router?
