Hi everyone,

I'm considering changing the screen lens color of my 8330 from black to silver/grey. I can find numerous silver ones for sale on eBay, but none specifically for the 8330.

I know the faceplates for the other models will not fit the 8330, but how about the lens itself? I have a feeling it won't work, due to the LED placement, but I just want to make sure.

I dont think so...

Compare the 8330 Lens with the 8310 Lens it looks like the 8330 lens has an aperture for the LED where as the 8310 does not.

Yeah, I noticed that, but I thought that maybe there is a chance that the LED was somehow able to shine through the lens cover of the non-8330 models, but I can see how that might not be the case.
