Does anyone know if the 8330 is capable of Wi-Fi? Verizon bought Cellular One out in Ky and I will be getting a new 8330. Would love to have Wi-fi, but didnt know if there was an app or a device to make this work?
I've had a bb for some time now (5-6 years) and cant, for the life of me figure what the advantages are to having wifi... I understand what people do with it; i.e., surf the web, etc., but I cant figure why people 'cant live without it'... I am at the end of my term with Sprint and its intriguing to say the least... so cough up the goods!! tell me why I should have it.
The browser isn't good enough to warrant needing that fast of a connection. when I had a pocket pc (HTC 6800 and also HTC 6850) I used Wi-Fi as I had browsers for both that I could use for 99.9% of websites and it was much quicker than my 3G data connection.
On my BB Curve, I'm not gunna be doing that much. I mean, it has issues opening phpBB forums. I'm not going to push the browser any harder than that.

and no, sprint does not offer any hotspot/calling features. T-Mobile is the only US carrier with that as far as I know.
