I am new to this blackberry and am I proud new owner of a 8330 curve. Where I live I dont have GSM coverage but I am wondering as to why, if anyone can shead some light, why there arent a WiFi cdma berry? Almost all the gsm ones have it?

Short answer, CDMA carriers dont request WiFi as an option. Closest device is 8350i with iDEN and WiFi

I've also read that the specific Qualcom chipset that RIM uses for BB's has issues with WiFi
