Why is my battery losing charge so fast?

The last day or so my Blackberry has been running a bit slow. The battery started draining fast as well. I tried to charge it, and it charged very slow as well. Well today, after a full charge, it went to a half charge in just a few hours of sitting on my desk, and not doing anything. What could be causing it?

What apps you have running in the background?

What signal you get?

Like yester said chances are if your running applications such as Jivetalk... they could be draining your batt very quickly

Ya, I thought it may be an app or music playing or something. How can I figure out what I have running?

while holding down the Alt key press your exit or return key which is the one to the right of the trackball... and that will bring up your running apps make sur you keep pressing the alt key while in the screen....
