Default Why can't I restore my photos?

I'm getting soo sick of the Blackberry. It's one of the slowest phones I've ever owned and I haven't owned it a month.

So, after my SD card failed for some reason (for the 2nd time!) I tried to format it from the blackberry (didn't work), connected it via USB (didn't work), and pout it in an SD card adapter (still didn't work). So, the good thing is I back my phone up regularly because I have important pictures and music on there. That's honestly all that's worth backing up.

So, after getting a new media card and trying to restore my phone back to one of the dates it had photos. I restored fully and my photos or music did not show up. I selectively restored it to content store in hopes my photos would get restored (there's a number next to it to). Nope, that didn't work either.

What am I doing wrong? How can I get my photos back? And how do I fix the other media card? This Blackberry didn't even tell me that it needed formatting (like it did the first time) and my computer/sd card reader/blackberry won't even format it or read it....what's up with that?

Thanks! I'm gonna give this BB one more chance...it's personally one of the worse phones I've ever owned and the phones I've owned were Sidekick III, Samsung Behold (didn't even have apps & it was better), & a crappy prepaid Samsung phone.

Desktop Manager does NOT backup anything on your SD card. The best thing, in the future, would be to just do a copy/backup every time you connect to your PC using Windows Explorer.

Also if you're buying cheap sd cards they are bound to fail. Buy some name brand ones that you know.
