I have one friend that we cannot exchange e-mail on the BB. Have no problem with anyone else, any ideas?

Need more information. What happens when you try to email him/her? What happens when they try to email you? Any error messages? Have you tried a battery pull?

error comes up on both ends. He can't send or receive and I can't send or receive. I've tried the battery pull. This is the only one I can't receive. He is also the only one with a wierd carrier or what ever you call it.

What error are you getting, who is your carrier, who is his carrier, etc.

His carrier is sbcglobal, mine is ATT for blackberry. The message just says there is a error sending. I have tired this several times. Wierd hu!

Have you tried pulling the battery while the BB is powered on. Have you tried resending the service books.

Does he have a data plan? Can anyone else send him email?
