Calling the crackberry nation! What US carrier has the cheapest BB plans. Right now me and my fiance have $170 a month bill through AT&T. That includes 700 shared minutes, unlimited text, and unlimited data. I'm just looking for something a little cheaper, heck even $20 cheaper would be nice. So those of you who have T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint what are you paying a month?

Tmobile, fiance and I had it.. 1000 shared, unlimited data and text, etc etc was 150 including tax, however.. NOW we have sprint everything data family plan, eerything is the same, however we now shre 1500 mins... unlim data, text, weeknights start at 7, etc.. so its about 140, so actually sprint is cheapest if you figure it out like that..

If you are looking at sprint.com they do not show the 8330's up there at the moment, rumors are they are changing the SKU numbers etc, so you might wanna go into the store, but you can view the plans..

ours total is 129.00 plus tax.. which is about 12 bucks...

Metro PCS has just released the Blackberry Curve for 50 bucks a month. Unlimited everything. Catch is you have to buy the phone at full cost.

Hey staticfiend, I'm with AT&T as well & anymore it really depends on who you're calling, for me AT&T is the way to go because everyone I deal with socially is with them so I have the lowest minute package. Also, I don't think AT&T promotes it but you may want to see if your company qualifies for a discount. I found out that I qualified for a 15% monthly discount by accident! From what I've heard AT&T supposedly offers the most corporate discounts of anyone (not sure how true that is, but it's worth checking out). You can check in the store by asking an associate or online by searching their site. Good luck!

While the money is important, especially these days, one must also think who has the coverage for their needs in the areas of operation they will be in. You can have a $5 data plan, but if it does not work well what good is it?

They don't have a Cricket in PA? Small cell phone company, no credit required, basically anyone can get a phone. I hear it's the choice of 9 out of 10 Meth addicts...

I have a $30 Sprint SERO 500 - Voice Only with a Free BlackBerry Data Package, TSP $7, Free Unlimited Picture Mail and Unlimited Text $7.50. Totals out to be $44.50 without taxes.

Only downside to the Sprint SERO plan is you cannot keep your phone number, you must change it...

If you use a lot of talk time, Sprint can't be beat with the simply everything unlimited, I pay $100+tax for unlimited everything..... haven't seen a deal better than that, you can add a second line for $89 which is also unlimited

Lower price does not always mean better. Alltel and VZW have the best coverage in my area, ergo my carrier has been Alltel for several years. Sprint, TMO, ATT all have inferior service where I live.

MetroPCS doesn't have the Curve around here in Jersey. Not that I''d hop on that because I'm with a family plan here going around $140, four lines, one of them an iPhone and mine is just 200 texts/$4.99. It's the 700 minute plan with 15%, although I was given a -$10 monthly off that plan. Don't know why and don't care--cheaper is better (pricewise of course).
Data plans have been going up, even text pay-per-use! Remember when AT&T, before the merge, had free incoming texts and outgoing I think 5 or 10 cents? Now it's $.20! The Sidekick standalone was $29.99, then $34.99, now $54.99! It's because the economy is bad. Please stop this madness and print money like crazy! No just kidding that's worse.
I like the Sprint plans but I am really dependant on GSM. I like switching phones at will especially for international travel. But I agree Sprint does have some nice prices.

Unfortunatley I don't work for a larger corporation any more. I worked in dealerships for years and now I work for an independent shop. But I think I will stop by a T-mobile kiosk this weekend to check out their prices! Thanks for all the input so far!

Basically boils down to how many minutes you use and if you need unlimited text... so for example.

Verizon has 700 Shared Minutes which is $100 (Rounding up here) for two phones also including unlimited text, add on two bb at $30 a peice you up to $160+tax...

Now if you can do less texting you may save your self anywhere from $10-$20...

I know this is a location specific question but Cellular South here in MS has a BB plan for $49.00 / month. It's 500 anytime minutes, unlimited internet, unlimited text, free mobile to mobile. I think that's a pretty good deal.

Wife and I have 1400 anytime, unlimited text & unlimited data, free nights and weekends and our monthly bill is 115 bucks. Oh yea, and we have 3 phones on the plan. Sprint is pretty reasonable with the plan prices.
