I'm just curious to know, when a message is erased (Email, SMS, MMS), does it go into a "recycle bin" type of folder, or is it permanently erased? I ask because sometimes I have erased messages that I wish I had not erased.

Once they are erased they are permanently gone, unless you used
the save function. Aside from that, there is no recycle bin.

Pretty sure you're SOL here, there is no "recycle bin" on the blackberry. If you delete an e-mail on handheld only, there's a copy still in your inbox. SMS, MMS, when you delete, they're gone for good.

I believe that there is a way to get sms messages from the carrier that u have sent to and from your phone. But it would only be applicable for important or threatening situations. I heard from someone that the carriers keep this sms text information for about 2 weeks before they delete it permanently. I don't know for sure if this is 100% correct, but it's worth a shot to research on the internet. Just in case u may need it in the future.
