Last night I noticed my call log was wiped out - no history on even the last call. I did upgrade my Blackberry Desktop Manager to version 5.0.0.11 yesterday. Any clues on how to restore my call log function?

You would probably want to check the available memory on the device. If that runs really low, it sacrifices things like call logs and messages to free up space.
As far as getting em back, unless it was backed up in BBDM, I think you're outta luck
