So I connected my BB for the first time to the USB, my Desktop Manager says Device Connected. I went on to the Blackberry.com/aim to get AIM on my Blackberry but when I go there, it says..

    No BlackBerry Device Found

Connect your BlackBerry device to the USB port on this computer now to load AOL Instant Messenger for BlackBerry./>

Is there any place else to download it? For whatever reason, it can't tell my Blackberry is connected to my PC. Is there anything on my Blackberry I need to press or is it just an error on that particular site?

Im assuming you also have 4.3 for sprint on your phone - Options/About, 3rd line down

    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...1IDPGmEqj8hQ**

Download and install this, extras will show up in DM, for you to add or remove if you wish - things like memo pad, tasks etc.. you can either keep or remove, depending on what you want on there.

It says my phone does not meet the System Requirements? Do I need to update the OS?

Where do I find out what OS I am running currently on my phone?

    Options - About - 3rd line down.

If you want to upgrade to 4.5 the sticky is above. for the 8330. You may have too, but you also get a few other neat features too. I think its worth it.
