4GB - 8GB?

Newegg.com has a 8GB Kingston for $18.50 so I was thinking about getting it.

Can apps/text-e-mail/pictures/movies/music all be moved to the micro? And if so, will this improve performance on the BB?

Pictures, movies and music (along with ringtones and voicenotes) can be stored on the media card.

Applications cannot be installed to the card. And messages are only stored on the unit.

Otherwise, yes, absolutely get an 8GB card and move your media onto it.

Do a search on ebay for 8 gig cards. A seller had an 8 gig SanDisk for around $20 (including shipping) and it comes with all of the card adapters + a USB plugin/ card reader. If you use your data cable alot like I do, try the USB plug. It's much faster than connecting the actual phone.
