Sites that have content in flash are not supported unless they re-encode the videos to a format the BB is capable of viewing, such as what youtube does. Youtube will work with any BB device running OS 4.3 or newer. I have no issues going to youtube.com and viewing videos.

which new OS do you have? 4.5.0.___? I have 4.5.0.69 on my 8310 and youtube works just fine with the bb browser. maybe try that instead of opera mini.

and not to hijack, but how the ---- do you get almost 7k posts in 9 months?!

for me it worked on .37, .44, .46, .52, .55, .69

Should work just fine. Make sure you are using the BB browser. The emulation mode is set to Blackberry. And go to youtube.com.

On a side note, after i upgraded to v4.5, i removed opera on my phone. Didn't see a need for it anymore. Some cb users still keep opera, others have removed it. So it's a matter of personal taste.

Do you have an 8830 or an 8330? This is the Curve (83xx) forum.

If you have an 8330, then you can already watch YouTube videos. (You have 4.3 already. And if you just got it and have no idea about it, then don't worry about 4.5 until you get to know your phone.)

If you have an 8830, then you probably need to head over to that section.
