I installed the "unofficial" 4.5.0.77 OS onto my 8330 awhile back. Now that the official version is out I want to install it, but of course Desktop Manager doesn't see the need to change

So the question is, should I bother (is there a difference between what was released previously and this blessed version). If yes, then how do I go about forcing Desktop Manager to comply?

The only difference would be something Verizon did if any thing. If you're not having any problems I wouldn't worry about it. But if you want the official download Crackmem. Delete the old os from your pc. Run crackmem and choose wipe the handheld then install.
