If it says Desktop Software, that is Desktop Manager

If it says Device Software, that is the Operating System

Would it be wise to download the official VZW release even if I've already downloaded from Blackberry? For warranty purpose I mean!!

This is only my opinion, but I always think it is best to have your carriers
release for support and of course warranty purposes

I've ran every 4.5 beta I could get my hands on. Hopefully this doesn't have the few second speaker phone bug when you answer the phone. Even the official 4.5.0.77 from other carriers had it and I always went back to 4.3. Still loading...

Tested the speaker phone bug 10 times. Didn't do it once. I'll have to say I am kinda shocked, I figured it would still be there.

Over all the upgrade is painless, but I've done it a ton with all the betas as well.

No issues found so far. Just got an MMS, so that appears to work still too.

I gotta run though. Happy upgrading....

    Why o why 4.5.0.77..... 4.5.0.97 is faster...

Uninstall the US Cellular one. Install the verizon one. Delete the vendor.xml. Update with Desktop Manager.

If it was me I wouldn't even bother with the VZ official rom though...

This is from the VZW PDF about the update. NOt sure yet hopefully someone will test

If you started GPS navigation in BlackBerry Maps and your device
indicated the number of satellites found, your device might have
    continuously searched for satellites.
