VZW 8330 Time issue

Hello all,

Longtime reader, first time posting...

My wife's VZW 8330 has a strange issue that started a couple week ago where at midnight it switches from AM to PM. I am not sure if it switches to AM then back to PM because I have never seen it but I know it happens at midnight because I had it at 11:15 PM and checked it before I went to bed at 12:09 AM but the clock said 12:09 PM.

Date/Time settings are Eastern (-5), 12 Hour, and pulling time from the network.
When looking at the Date/Time settings last night the device time said 12:09 PM and the network time said 12:09 AM.
I upgraded her from 4.3.0.127 to 4.5.0.77 last night and it still has the issue.

Mine is just 10 - 12 minutes fast. v4.5.0.77
Well I just adjusted it in the options- date/time go figure.

I have my time being pulled from Blackberry, I have never found problems with the time being off. But I know sometimes my time freezes when I check on it after sitting for awhile. So it will say the last time I checked it then go to the actual time. This could be it? I don't know.

If all your settings are as described, then it almost has to be a network time problem. But in that case, your Storm should have the same problem. Try setting her BlackBerry time source to BlackBerry, verify that the phone is set to the correct time, and see if that solves the problem.
