Are you talking about volume for incoming calls, or during a call?

Incoming calls: go to profiles, edit, phone, change to low, medium or high

On a call: press side buttons.

sorry forgot to tell you incoming calls.
under profiles my choices are loud, normal, or quiet (and vibrate)...is there another option between normal and quite?

Go to profiles, scroll down, advanced, Normal, then EDIT, then PHONE, then Low, Medium, High, etc, etc

When I first got my BlackBerry, I forgot to change the profile settings, and it was on loud. I was relaxing in a quiet room, and all of a sound this loud noise started! Scary the crap out of me...

Happened to me in a quiet doctor's waiting room - WAY LOUD - with the ringtone "Mission Impossible". They thought I was nuts - I got such dirty looks!

I wish you could just adjsut the volume like most other phones, i.e., using the volume keys while a call is incoming

I just got the Blackberry Curve 8310 yesterday. I can't figure out how to lower the ring..lower incoming messages. Nothing. I can't find anything to edit it as you have described here..help please! It is blasting me out of here it is so loud, and I am hating it!
