I recently got a Curve and, suddenly, I get mistaken for a woman whenever I call somebody new. This hasn't happened since middle school and it's very unnerving. I've called myself and my voice definitely sounds lighter when using a BB than it does when using other mobile phones.

Is there any way I can adjust the voice settings to make my voice sound deeper? Will a Bluetooth headset do trick? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Note, I am a male in my early 20s.

In you call log hit them menu>options>general options. Change enhance call audio from what it is to boost base. See if this helps.

It works somewhat. I just have to remember to speak deeper whenever I call people.
