i have been trying with no success to get vlingo to work...i have a 8330 running os 4.3.0.127 (platform 3.1.0.73)
the problem appears to be in setting the permissions
i have tried to set everything to allow but i cant seem to change
connections for phone
connections for carrier internet

the only choices i have are prompt or deny there is no allow....

any suggestions or help would be appreciated

i guess i have sprint, an 8330 and the same OS and i haven't had the same problem. when i DL'ed vlingo and opened it the first time, it had me save the settings and everything defaulted to allow and i never had problems with any of the previous vlingo versions.

maybe uninstall and retry?

Yea, I would definitely advise a fresh install. Don't change any settings when the program first starts. That should work.
