Ok so I guess its a T-Mo thing for us here in the states? I see the UK people cant get youtube on edge but can on wifi. US users are reveresed. As am I

For me: running 4.5 (Orange) on T-Mobile, 8320
-Youtube works on EDGE. Does not work on wi-fi
-Moodio works on EDGE. Does not work on wi-fi
-Xplayer barely works on EDGE, choppy and intermittent. BUT Xplayer works like a charm on wi-fi. I love Xplayer on wi-fi, but obviously I can't get wi-fi in the car so we have a problem.

I guess the youtube/moodio problem is router related? So wi-fi does not allow it to work over UMA. If anyone knows how to fix this please inform. If not hopefully like someone said, the official OS 4.5 from T-Mo fixes this. (When that gets released in 2010 and I already have a new Blackberry Luxor)

For me:
Wifi works, EDGE i think works.. but SOME VIDEOS don't work, like i noticed some youtube videos give me the same error.. some don't..

for me youtube videos work with EDGE, havent tried on wi-fi.
have you tried playing different videos on you tube, cause every other video gives an error but very rare.

For me, UMA was the problem. When I changed "Mobile Network Options" from "Wi-Fi Preferred" to Mobile Network Preferred", I was able to view Youtube videos on the Curve.
