    Anyone know of any video converting software for the curve that will allow it to play windows media player vids. So basically play just about every type of vid.

    Google mediacoder, it can convert almost any format file to something that you can play on the BB Media Player.

    Forgot to include the fact that this has to be something that can be installed in the phone if possible otherwise I can't use it

    Nope. Not going to happen. You will need to convert the files before you put them on the device.
