Does anyone know anything about a faulty vibrator on the 8310? I've tried a battery pull, which did not work. I'm a bit reluctant to do an OS re-install because I'd have to have my IT department put me back on my firms server, which seems to always take a while.

Assuming that it is hardware related, does anyone know where the vibrating motor is inside the phone? I'd like to see if I can do anything (i.e., replace it), in an attempt to fix it.

Double a??? I thought they took D batteries.

Back on topic I don't know that a software problem would cause the vibrate to stop. My guess would be hardware issues. Prob time for a new berry.

I looked around but the only thing I found is people saying to replace the phone. I personally don't know but if I do find something I will post right away.
