I sometimes cannot call, nor know if they are accessible to email since I just got a text msg, 160 add up quick, its not really typing "that much" IMO.

I agree, it's easy to blow through 160 characters on a BlackBerry...

Beyond 160 is def worth the money! I haven't had any problems. And yea MMS would be ideal, but you cannot always depend on it because there are SOME people in my phone book that don't have any use for MMS so they don't purchase that.

Yea people don't know how to go to the blackberry app section and look around and they also don't feel the need to buy a $7 amazing app. Sucks for them!

Also coming from GSM to CDMA where I WAS able to go further than 160, then wasnt, it takes some time getting used too, but this app takes care of that.

    Beyond160>MMS BECAUSE...

When i'm about to start a message, I don't KNOW if i'm going to go over 160 or not for sure. So, if i start typing, and then need more room, I'd have to highlight everything (a pain), and then copy (slightly less painful), and then compose an MMS (not TOO hard), and then add a contact by typing their name a bit (still time consuming), and then paste the message. Plus, not everyone can get MMS messages, and they take a while sometimes.

With Beyond 160, I never think about it. If the text i'm typing gets close to 160, I press the BB button, select Beyond 160 from the menu, and it automatically highlights my whole message, copies it, opens beyond 160, and then pastes it there. Literally one button and one menu option, and I'm continuing my message. Then, when finished (Beyond160 also has a built in diagonal finger swipe option... one diagonal swipe and it sends all of the message you've typed) , it sends as several SMS messages, which are usually quicker, and more people are willing to accept them.

Well, WELL worth 5 or 6 dollars for anyone who can't stop texting.

Did you check to see if this softweare is compatible with the curve? The person I see above appears to be using a storm.

Could be since SMS stand for Short Message Service. This is limited by the network. What you can lok at as well to see if this helps is:

Options>advanced options>applications>hightlight the app>menu>edit permission and make sure they are set allow
