Is it possible to create a personal wifi hot spot with my BB? I have a wifi only iPad that I want to be able to access the internet with on occasion while traveling. What do I need in order to accomplish? Do I need to download an app from Verizon for my BB? Or is it possible to use a third party hardware device like a Cradlepoint to accomplish without doing anything beyond my existing phone/data plan?

8330 doesnt have wifi at all so unless the tethering is connected via cable, I dont believe there is a way. Also, the curve's internet isnt even 3g so it'd be beyond slow anyways.
A Cradlepoint type of device is about the only way you can get your Curve to act like a hotspot. If your only other option is dialup then it will seem fast. Up against broadband, not so fast.
