I was at the Verizon software update page for for Blackberry this morning and it appears (but I am not positive) that there is an update to the stock .77 software version that comes with the 8330s.
I downloaded it, but don't have time to confirm that it is version 101. However, the help text says that it is:
"Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce new software enhancements
for your BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone. The RIM OS 4.5.0 release
101 update includes the latest feature improvements for your device."
The page is clear as mud. It says that the software release is v4.5 (updated 10/31/2008). Another spot on the page it says it is "Patch Name: Release 202"
I have to go to work now, but I figured someone would want to play around with this if it is indeed a new version.
