VZW does charge more than most providers, but they continue to get away with it because of their quality.

Well, if you go with VZW, you HAVE to get a $30/mo BB plan. On other carriers, the BB plan is optional.

I have had cingular then went to TMobile now I'm happily at Verizon and will never leave. I have the 99.99 family select plan with 2 lines 700 shared minutes and unlimited texts to everyone. I have $5 insurance per line then my $30 BB data plan so $140/mo before tax and fees and I couldn't be happier. Coverage is the best I've had and I travel around the country, customer service is always more then helpful

Like everyone else has said, you get what you pay for.

You say it's a ripoff to charge a seperate data fee for each phone, but you have no idea how much you'll use that data. Each phone has it's own add-ons. I'd still go with Verizon over some of the other guys, even if they are cheaper!
