i believe the liquid indicator is on both the battery and the phone. mine is kinda red with red x's on it (battery). it turn red red and no longer see the x's when it gets wet. i should know.

usually until they spill out of their respective containers - glass, cardboard and humans. then they curdle, freeze, boil and evaporate. blood starts to smell real bad in a 100+F apartment, when it curdles after a few days....
This poster probably just thought that "liquid" referred to some Blackberry term, not the literal definition of liquid.. Don't be hard on 'em. We were all newbies at one point, too.
Anyhow, the yes the indicator is indeed on the battery. Mine has been a light pink with red x's since day one, and my phone hasn't incurred severe water damage. So, OP, you should be fine.

Exactly what i was thinking Jen, the guy obviously thought liquid was some term that we all use. The harshness was a bit over the top after that..
