Verizon 8330 owners.. what color is liquid indicator on your OEM battery??

mine is red right out of the box.
i always thought red was a bad thing.

The liquid indicator is not on the battery. It's on the phone.

i believe the liquid indicator is on both the battery and the phone. mine is kinda red with red x's on it (battery). it turn red red and no longer see the x's when it gets wet. i should know.

Also keep in mind that high humidity areas can play with indicators

usually until they spill out of their respective containers - glass, cardboard and humans. then they curdle, freeze, boil and evaporate. blood starts to smell real bad in a 100+F apartment, when it curdles after a few days....

but i digress.

This poster probably just thought that "liquid" referred to some Blackberry term, not the literal definition of liquid.. Don't be hard on 'em. We were all newbies at one point, too.

Anyhow, the yes the indicator is indeed on the battery. Mine has been a light pink with red x's since day one, and my phone hasn't incurred severe water damage. So, OP, you should be fine.

If you want to see what happens to the indicator, just run your BB though the dishwasher to get the dust out.
