I just got the BB 8310 and a new laptop with Vista. I understand from reading many of the discussions on here that BB can sync with Vista's Windows Mail. I won't really be using Windows Mail, but do want to use it's capabilities to manage my contacts). Can someone provide instructions on setting it up so my contacts are downloaded from BB to Windows Mail.
Hey. I downloaded 4.3 as many people here suggested. Unlike 4.2 which wouldn't begin to let me do anything this appeared to want to work with Vista and Windows Mail. However, it didn't give me the Windows Mail as a sync option. I chose Outlook Express and it gives all indication that it WILL work. However (again with the however), when I tried to do that, many of the fields changed and last names became middle names. I also fiddled with fields under advanced options and then it assigned last names as middle names (so John Smith became John Smith Smith.) It was very weird. I gave up after two hours! Now I'm not sure what to do!
