Can I use my bb as my internet on my laptop? I have verizon. Thanks

yes, but you have to pay an extra $30 or you can use a third party app.

With vzw there is a charge for tethering and they also have a 5gb cap per month.

As everyone has said, what you're looking to do is called "Tethering". There's way to do it without paying the extra money, but if Verizon caught you they wouldn't be too pleased.

You should be warned that if you use a 3rd party app to tether without paying for the service through vzw they WILL more than likely catch you and when they do the bill will be based on a per mb charge.
