ok i dont really know where to start...im new to BB and this whole media manager thingy. when i hook usb to pc and BB i get an error message saying

>>> media manager is only supported using a usb connection. to run media manager please connect your device using usb cable...<<<

basically im trying to start out easy and just add music from my media player to B. sorry if this was asked but i culdnt find this question in thread search. if u guys can help please do or one point me in right direction. thnks!

while media manager is running go to the top and find opions. In that folder will be a connections setting box. open it and select usb cable. save and exit. plug in your BB and it should see it and work. If not try and restart your computer and do a battery pull. Then retry
