okay here's the story...

i have an 8320 and i tried to use the USB connection to upload some music onto my memory card with mass storage mode. my DM(4.5) told me to input my password, so i did, and about 5 seconds later it asks the same thing. its an endless cycle and its really annoying because as you know, you only have to type in the password when the DM is connecting. so it doesnt stay connected.

so in the end, i had to take the memory card out and use a microSD adapter in the memory card reader.

i'm running the BETA OS 4.5.0.44.

does anyone know a fix for this?

Do you have it set to prompt you regarding going into mass storage mode?

I am not running that OS but I did have problems accessing the card until I made sure it asked the question on mass storage....and....did a hot batt pull.

go to Options\MediaCard and make sure Mass Storage Mode Support is set to (on) is what richinnc was saying. Have you tried to reinstall the card to see if it helps as in turn bb off pull card bb on bb off replace card bb on.

Strage mode is on.

And I have tried powering on the bb without the card init, buti haven't tried to connect with dm since then
