It is not a scam, and is a common issue when setup your Desktop Manager incorrectly ... read this, and good luck.
I keep getting odd emails from RIM - BlackBerryFAQ

i did not setup the desktop redirect.
i used email setup from tmobile to define my emails.
it has been working fine since i bought it. suddenly this happened now.

The emails you're getting, like jsanders said, seem to indicate you've somehow gotten a BES setup.

We could discuss this back and forth about HOW it happened or WHY it happened. I assume what you want is to stop getting a gazillion emails, right? You'll need to go back through the setup and make sure you're on BIS not BES.

    Thanks!
I did delete all my serivce books and went to tmobile website to resend the service books again.

it seems now working fine with no emails.

but how to know if i am on BIS not BES?
