Default upgrading/downgrading 8330 for blackberry sprint

I have sprint 8330 but when I have wiped the device it turns out that I can only upgrade or downgrade 8330 OS released by Sprint and can not use other carrier's version.

However, If I use verizon, I have managed to downgrade/upgrade using different carrier's OS release version.

Can you guys tell me what happen to my phones? i tried 2 phones and they ended the same.

You have to delete the Vendor.xml on your computer.

After I wiped and do a factory reset i install the other carrier's OS and then deleted the vendor.xml file. after that I run loader.exe but when the program went to chose the app selection there is not a single app that I am able to chose to install and the option is only to cancel the upgrade/downgrade process.

I tried installing with various OS but no luck, the only successful install is if I upgrade using blackberry desktop software by downloading the upgraded OS. Somehow the desktop software ignored the local version of the upgraded OS. Below is the screen shot when I tried to upgrade locally.

So you have successfully upgraded 2 of 5 exact phones with the same OS you're trying to install?

yes, the same model from sprint. Don't know what is wrong with the other three. they only succeeded when I connected to the internet and download the sprint's release (no other release can be installed)

Are you using the newest dm? I've heard if you're online it will redownload the vendor.xml file.

I don't really understand why you were successful with 2 and the other 3 will not using the same process. They are bis and bes with it policy on them?
