My 8320 unlocked T-Mobile phone is running OS 4.5, but on the AT&T network. It is running very slow and hangs often. I was wondering if there is a way to nuke the T-Mobile 4.5 OS and replace it with the AT&T 4.5 OS to see if that solves the problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't really matter where the OS comes from as long as it's for the 8320. However, you can wipe the device:http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...l_cmder-53502/

Then install the new OS:How to Install or Upgrade to a New RIM BlackBerry Operating System (OS) with AppLoader | CrackBerry.com

Make sure you back up all your data and 3rd party apps first.

That's an interesting problem. If you do wipe the T-Mobile OS and install the AT&T OS, please update us and let us know if you see any improvements?

OS for a model is an OS. when you load it, you are supposed to delete the vendor.xml file anyway. the best advice for me to give you is to install the most current OS for your device which can be found in the link below. 4.5.0.153 appears to be most recent. just follow proper OS upgrading procedures found all over this site. once installed, AT&T is gonna push all the AT&T stuff to your phone anyways. no matter what you do, the splash screens and some browser icons will remain saying T-mobile no matter what, because its branded as a T-Mobile phone. the only way to truely make it an "AT&T phone" is to rebrand it as such. too much work and risk. i unbranded my 8310 though. so instead of the AT&T screens is just shows RIM engineering ones.
