This may be a stupid question, but I am relatively new to the BB. I have pictures, ringtones, and music loaded on my current 1G SD card. Is there a way to transfer the data from the 1G to the new 4G SD card that I purchased? I am more concerened about the ringtones because all of the other data I have on my PC and won't cost me a thing to add to the new card. I am hoping that I won't have to purchase the 20 ringtones that I have for another $2.49+tax per song.

Transfer then to ur pc via the usb cable using the media manager. And than transfer it back to the new one. That should work idk.

If the ringtones are stored in the mem card just transfer them to ur pc and move them back.

Yeah.... You bought 20 tones at 2.5 bucks a pop? Those can all be snagged for free, or at least cheaply for a bb

the curve will only recognize 4gb of an 8gb card. if you update to os 4.5 it will recognize the entire 8gb.

Not totally accurate. The Verizon 8330 Curve comes with OS 4.3 and can read the entire 8GB microSD HC.

But you are correct. On all other models the OS will need to be 4.5 to read 8GB.
