    Hey everyone I am new to blackberry just got mine but notice so many cool features. I want to try to update to 5.0 to try and fix the headphone switching back and forth to speakers but updater from desktop manager 5.0 is not working it just shows 4.5.0(current) and that doesnt do anything. any ideas or links on what i should do??

    Did you delete the vendor.xml file?

    Exact model : blackberry curve 8330m O.S.: v4.5.0.186

    No idea what vendor.xml is but no i havnt deleted anything

    Carrier : pocket wireless, available only in southern texas( i think)
    Data plan = unlimited

    Sorry, but there is no OS 5.0 for the 8330m.
