Ok so I been learning a lot in the past few months about the blackberry, and I love it. Well I have a few friends that have curves and they been askin me questions and I been doin fairly well with learning all about them and being their "Berry Support" since I am the geek of the group too.
Few days ago they were asking about screen lag and a few other issues. Knowing from what I read here, I know that updating the OS can possibly fix this. Took a look at there OS versions they are light years behind...
Now my question is can I go from their overly outdated OS up to the current or do I have to go in sequence?

You can go ahead and update to the newest. For the 8330 curves, that is the 4.5.0.160. Be aware, however, there are "things" wrong with each OS as it is... there are many threads here documenting the speakerphone blast, the RF cycling, the lost profiles, the Verizon squelch during calls... each OS has a small tweak needed here and there. But if your friend still has 4.3...yikes! Update to something. Follow the directions here. Each time I have done it, things have worked beautifully because the experts here write great directions for us to use!
I do not believe sprint has a problem ith the speaker blast. The package number is .160 but the os is .131. It is very stable with no problems that I know of.
