need more info... which new os? how doesn't it work? blackberry maps doesn't open... just keeps searching for satellties... etc

does telus allow gps or do they block it and make u pay them $10 a month to use their app. cuz if so u might have to reload their app.

OS is 4.5.033
The icon is still on the system but google maps/BB maps cannot lock down a position and I have tried a new app but GPS will not connect.
I have "full service" with Telus so that shouldn't be the issue.
It was working.

I have the same issue with my 8330. Upgraded to 4.5 and now no GPS lock on either bb or google maps.

GPS settings checked, it is on.

Same issue here. The GPS is one of the most important features for me in the phone as I do alot of hiking and need to know where I am. Worked fine before the update. Now I just get the triangulation (blue circle) instead of GPS pinpoint.

I have an 8310 and have used most of the various 4.5 betas and have not had any problems with my GPS. Have you gone into Options - Advanced Options - GPS - Menu - Refresh GPS?

I really love this blackberry but is seems to have a mind of it's own.
