If I am updating to 4.5 do I need to uninstall 4.3 from my PC beforehand or is it overwritten? I have seen the direction for updating. I am Verizon customer if that helps.

Go to add remove programs and remove 4.3, although 4.3 should not be there as this was OS that came with the phone unless you installed for removing things via apploader. ALso D/L at least 4.5 DM before you upgrade.

Thanks. Will the BB now have two OS on it if I have not wiped it prior to installing 4.5? meaning will I have two OS worth of space being taken up on it if I do not wipe it first?

Sun is right. When the upgrade is done, it removes 4.3 and adds 4.5

No the new OS will overwrite the old, so you'll have just the one.

Also, if you have the old OS on your PC, I'd leave it. That way if
you ever need to rollback it will save you the trouble of reinstalling
it. DM will only see the newest OS so there is no conflict issue.

Thanks all. I did remove the old one. Thanks for the rollbak point. Good to know. I did save a copy of the old OS.

So far so good since the update. Browser is faster.

Is there any changelog for 4.5?
