I have recently upgraded my 8330 to 4.5.0.138 and am getting an uncaught exception message when I hit the call log button to try and pull up old calls. The message reads: java.lang.nullpointerexception. The phone locks up and I have to do a reboot. This had not happened before I upgraded. Any suggestions? Anyone else run into this?

I had this happen a couple of months ago. If I remember correctly, I had to connect to DM, and clear the phone logs that way. It has something to do with corrupt data in the phone log. If you search the Uncaught Exception with the #'s after it, you should find an answer.

I'll look and see if I can find it for you.

    EDIT*** Found the information...try this:

    1. start desktop manager
    2. backup & restore
    3. advanced
    4. go to phone log
    5. clear the log
