I have tried the prompt and yes option. I have tried three different PCs. I have DM 4.6 installed. I have searched the other threads and none have helped me in my problem. This is an 8300 if that matters. There is a 8gb card installed. I've formatted it a few times both on pc and blackberry. No Dice, help me please.

Does DM display your PIN when connected to your BB? Does the BB charge when plugged in to the PC?

Also, have you tried a battery pull? Power on, remove battery, wait 30 secs, reinstall battery.

Under Options > Media Card, does it show the proper Total Space on your card (7.3 or 7.4GB)?

It's ok, I slipped it in there after the fact.

The important thing is you are pulling the battery with the power still on, and not turning the BB off first...

Make sure your PC isn't already assigning a drive letter that the BB is trying to use. Right click My Computer and select Manage. Pick Disk Management on the left. If the BB shows up, but is trying to use a drive letter that's already taken, right click the drive and select Change Drive Letter and Paths. Pick Change and select an available drive letter.

Well, if you have ruled out the computer (multiple PCs, same prob), the USB port/cable (charges, PIN detected), and the media card (formats with no errors, reports correct capacity), then it has to be the BB or the software (OS).

Try backing everything up, then reload the OS on your BB.

    download this

    1.Plug in BB

    2.Run BB storage Activation.bat

    3.Wait untill your BB reboots

    4. Close BB storage activation. Your PC should either prompt or automatically show your media card as another drive(depending on your setting)
