I swear I read there is a way to save messages on the media card, but I forgot how and I can't seem to find it again.

    Anybody know???

Nope. There's no way to do that. You can back them up to a computer with BlackBerry Desktop Manager, though.

I don't see why though ... it'll just be in a backup file .. and you won't get it back unless you restore from that file

You can open, view, print and convert the IPD file with ABC Amber BlackBerry Converter software on your computer.

Use your keyboard shortcut (S) you can see all the txt messages you have sent and your received unless you deleted them then only see sent ones. Also you can search other stuff from that shortcut. Have fun! =D
