I tried to follow these directions
To remove the VAD the easiest thing to do is download MaxMem. Follow the directions carefully, and do not delete things all willy nilly! You will brick your berry in a heartbeat! The files you want to remove look like this:
net_rim_vad_engine_resource__en_US.cod
net_rim_vad_resource__en.cod

I thought I did this right but after reboot I cannot open options. I get this error code
Uncaught exception:net.rim.device.api.i18n.Misssing ResourceException

Any help please
